While the world has focussed on building software for professionals, we have taken a platform strategy by focussing the end consumers to begin with.


The Problem We’re Solving

Home design has long been a challenge for most consumers. Homeowners struggle to visualize how different design elements will fit into their spaces. The industry is fragmented—complicated 3D tools, expensive services, and no seamless product-to-design integration make it difficult to bring ideas to life. The result? A time-consuming and expensive process that doesn’t always meet expectations.

SuperBolter simplifies home design by offering an intuitive platform where homeowners can:

We've streamlined the journey from dream home to reality, making it more affordable, accessible, and efficient.

Since January 2023, over 100,000 users have designed their homes, with more than 30,000 homes crafted on our platform. And, with a customer acquisition cost (CAC) of zero, we’ve defied the industry norms and shattered expectations. Now, we’re ready to unlock even bigger milestones as we scale.

About the Founder : Arvind Prakash Singh

Arvind Prakash Singh is a seasoned entrepreneur and technologist with over 15 years of experience in building and scaling tech-driven ventures. He is the founder of SuperBolter where he combines his deep understanding of technology with his passion for creating impactful solutions that empower everyday users. As a 3x founder, Arvind has learnt invaluable lessons from his startup failures and successes which give him an edge over his competitors.

Background

Arvind holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering from R.V. College of Engineering and an executive program in Management from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. Before venturing into entrepreneurship, Arvind began his career as a software engineer, working on mission-critical systems for global leaders like Goldman Sachs and FANUC Robotics.

Previous Ventures & Impact

Arvind’s entrepreneurial journey started in 2008 with Vrixx, a startup focused on education technology. Though the venture faced its challenges, it laid the foundation for his learning curve as an entrepreneur.

Status: Failed in 2.5 years. Key highlight: Most Promising Startup of the Year.

Learnings: Build for your user not VC, MVP & PMF were hardly known in 2008 though a must, Have a clear vision and chart out a path to achieving it and stay true to the vision.

In 2011, he joined another well-funded startup in the ed-tech space which wanted to "Change the Way India's learns". It too bombed!

Arvind was now at a critical juncture in his career. He had given up an amazing job in NYC and had now spent about 6 years in startups. Sitting in his living room in a contemplative mood, he searched "How to f****** startup?" His life changed when he encountered Steve Blank - the Father of Modern Entrepreneurship. There has been no looking back since.

In 2015, he founded his second startup, Furdo, a turnkey interior design platform similar to Livspace and Homelane, where he scaled the company to deliver 100 homes a month and generate nearly ₹4 Crore in GMV per month. Furdo’s success highlighted the inefficiencies and barriers within traditional interior design, which ultimately led to the birth of SuperBolter.

Status: Exited. Key Highlights: Turned a $400k investment into a 100 people $7-8Mn ARR venture within 2 years while giving a strong competition to venture backed deeply funded competitors. Furdo was also the TechSparks Top 10 Startups of 2015.

Learnings: How does home design actually work on the ground, How to disrupt the home design space globally for the end consumer, How to go after the blue ocean opportunities across the globe. Strong resolve to crack this problem.

About the Role / what will you own

As the first Marketing Manager at SuperBolter, you’ll own the entire marketing function from the ground up. This is a company builder role, where you will craft the voice, strategy, and brand identity that will position SuperBolter as a market leader in the home design space. You'll be responsible for driving customer acquisition, brand awareness, and engagement through strategic marketing campaigns, content creation, and customer-centric storytelling. Your role will define the company’s market positioning and drive exponential growth.

What You’ll Own:

  1. End-to-End Marketing Strategy: You’ll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing SuperBolter’s multi-channel marketing plan. This includes performance marketing, content marketing, social media strategy, and community-building efforts.
  2. Growth Initiatives: You’ll own customer acquisition strategies and retention campaigns, ensuring that SuperBolter reaches and resonates with homeowners across the globe. Your goal will be to scale our user base rapidly, while ensuring high engagement and satisfaction.
  3. Brand Building: You will define and build the SuperBolter brand. You will be crafting a brand voice that connects with homeowners, designers, and merchants, and positioning SuperBolter as the go-to platform for home design.
  4. Campaign Creation: Develop and execute high-impact marketing campaigns that drive traffic and conversions, whether through digital channels, social media, PR, or partnerships.
  5. Collaboration: You’ll work closely with the founding team and cross-functional partners in Product, Design, and Sales to align marketing efforts with the broader business strategy.
  6. Performance Analytics: Track and analyze key marketing KPIs to continually refine strategies, optimizing for growth and user retention. You will make data-driven decisions to scale initiatives that work and phase out those that don’t.

Must-Have Technical Skills

  1. Digital Marketing Mastery:
    • SEO & SEM: For optimizing organic and paid traffic.
    • Social Media Ads: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn Ads expertise.
    • Google Analytics: Data analysis and performance tracking.
  2. Content Marketing:
    • Copywriting & Storytelling: Ability to craft engaging content.
    • CMS Proficiency: Experience with platforms like WordPress or HubSpot.

  3. Influencer Marketing:
    • Partnerships & Collaborations: Experience working with influencers for brand promotion.
  4. Marketing Attribution:
    • Understanding of multi-touch attribution models to assess campaign effectiveness.
  5. Data Visualization:
    • Tableau or PowerBI: Ability to turn complex data into easy-to-understand visuals.

Having the must-haves ensures proficiency in core marketing tasks, while the good-to-haves provide an edge in expanding your role and efficiency.

For this role, 5-8 years of experience in digital marketing, growth hacking, or similar fields would be ideal, with a proven track record of scaling brands, managing campaigns, and driving customer acquisition. If the candidate has worked in fast-paced startup environments or in industries like PropTech, E-commerce, or SaaS, it would be a great bonus.

  3. Community Engagement: Grow an engaged community of homeowners, designers, and merchants, with a target of 1000+ active users regularly participating in platform discussions and content sharing within the first 6 months.
  4. Conversion Rates: Improve conversion rates by 15% within the first 3 months, turning leads into paying customers by refining the customer journey and optimizing landing pages.
  5. Customer Retention: Maintain a retention rate of 50% or higher by keeping users engaged through lifecycle marketing, educational content, and personalized experiences.
